THE METHOD
The Classical Pilates Method is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, aiming to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, coordination, and posture through controlled and precise movements.
What sets the classical method apart from others that emerged later is its fidelity to the original repertoire of exercises, respecting the details, order, and transitions as they were taught by its creator.
Each exercise is designed to work the body as a whole, combining strength, balance, and breathing. The benefits include not only improved muscle tone and stability but also greater body awareness and control over movement.
